To simplify pricing and offer the same value-added service, Crossroads Hostel Manila will now offer our PhP699/night per guest on a daily basis. Security Deposit is not yet included in the rate and can be remitted upon checking in.
Only paid reservations will be honored as reserved and all other guests can do the same by paying promo rates using Online Travel Agencies such as Expedia, Hostelorld.com, and Traveloka.
The rate adjustment will help Crossroads Hostel Manila provide the same type of service and hospitality only we know how in this area — at least.

Near Crossroads Hostel is the new DC Comics Super Heroes Café. It’s the official museum-eatery for comic book lovers especially those who follow Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman. This is just the third of three exclusive themed cafes located in Southeast Asia — and we’re one of them! The first two is located in Singapore and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Visitors will enjoy not just the big-servings of food they serve but the variety of things to see, hear, and feel. There are exclusive souvenirs you can buy, exclusive edition comic books and graphic novels to collect, and shows to watch while enjoying all the place has to offer to you.
The diner just recently opened and we’re sharing you some pictures of the place located at the 4th level of SM Megamall Building D. We promise that going here will not just be a treat for comic book fans but for those who are curious in seeing what the fuss is all about in the comic book universe. Enjoy!

WE’RE SCRATCHING OUR HEADS what to do with the recently approved tax reform in my country. While it gives more small companies like Crossroads Hostel leeway in shielding itself from Value Added Tax (VAT), it will have to contend with the advent of having to pay more in operations cost making it more challenging for us to offset the cost of utilities especially in the coming summer months of March.
Summer, like anywhere else in the world, is increasingly getting warmer and that means higher use of air-conditioners to cool yourself off and more frequent times to open the refrigerators to get your cold drinks or to freeze your drinks.
That’s a lot of money.
Electricity rates in The Philippines are on of the highest in Asia (16th in the World!) and it’s extra challenging for us to get more people to go to The Philippines, let alone have them stay in our hostel because of appointments they have in the nearby Ortigas area.
We’ll take the challenge and hopefully, we’ll come out a winner because whatever investment our guests give us, we put it back to develop our hostel further.
Here’s to creativity in how to get things right.

Nope. It's not the Riddler's Hostel

2013 is exciting for Crossroads and part of this excitement is bearing a new name.
Actually, it’s just a modification. We’ve been flaunting it but we haven’t made any thing official about this announcement. The board is meeting now to vote on this new name so watch out for our future bulletins.

Come right in!

We are thrilled to share photos of our newly-renovated Hostel property (called Crossroads Hostel) located right smack at the center of Manila’s Metropolis.
Crossroads Backpackers Hostel took almost seven months to finish from the planned 30-bed, six-door property sitting on a 250 square-meter land in Mandaluyong. The Hostel got its name from the two, nearby main roads of the Metropolis that crosses each other here. Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Shaw Boulevard (two of the biggest business and trade thoroughfares) crosses each other and this gives Backpackers a very good edge in traveling, adventure-style in Metro Manila.
The new property is a stone’s throw away from the most rugged urban place you can find to the most-posh malls and location in town.
The nearest hospital is no more than one-hundred meters away (about 109 yards) and the iconic Filipino Jeepney passes through here so visitors like you can take pictures of it any time you want. The Light Rail Train is just meters away and so are the buses, the tricycles, the taxis.  That’s why getting to your destination whenever you want AND according to your budget is a cinch.
The best part about Crossroads Hostel are the features of the place especially the warmth and hospitality you’ll find in our property. We can never boast enough how we can make your travel the safest yet the most comfortable – we think – you can ever have. So come right in and check out the pictures we took just this morning with my wife and try staying with us on your next trip.
